That exhibition will be the most effective method of cementing cordial relations between the sections lately in deadly conttict. It will be im no sense a revival of that unhappy and bloody interval. There is no envy of Philadel- phia in the south; no southern city offers to compete with the metropolisof Pennsylvama in commemmorating the 100th anniversary of our independence.
