The heavy portion of the decorations were being put up to-day, those in the supper room having been already completed. Tae Laxcens’ Visit To WasuINaToy.—The lancers will start on Saturday next on their proposed visit to Washi to attend the in- auguration of President The company consists of 150 men, including an honorary staff, among which will be Adjutant General Cun- ningham, and several past captains of the corps. According to the present arrangements, the company, with Edmund's band, will make a short parade, dismounted, on the way to the Providence railroad station, where it is to take the steamboat train via the Stonington line. The connecting steamboat will laud at Jerse: City, where the lancers will disembark an breakfast at Taylor's hotel. From Jersey City the company will go direet to Washington by special train. On return home the lancers ex- pect to stop in Baltimore and Philadelphia, ar- tiving in this city on Saturday.
