If cough commences give aconite and beliadona, twenty-four drops of aconite in x tablespoontul of sugar divided into twelve doses, one dose every two hours. Same quantity of belladona ‘in @ tablespoonful ot sugar divided into 12 doses, and give every two hours im alternation with the aconite. If the cough is not frequent and severe, every three hours will be sufficient. Assoon as the cough »nd feverish symptoms are relieved give arsenic and nux vomica in alternation every three hone, the nux yomica prepared in the same way and | the same doses as the arsenic. This treatment bas beea yery successful in Buffalo, and 1 have been ver: successful — with neatly the same with my own horse: Foumigate .be stables with carbolic powder, which the druggists keep; wash the p ls with carbvite soap water; rub the throat with cayenne | pepper and laré; rub the legs with dry mustard; cep well blanketed; walk balf an hour daily in | the sun, if the day is warm; give plenty of water to drink, aud do not work them at all!
