Moreau, a member of the execi- tive committee that called the Louisville con- vention, has issued an address to the democracy of Indiana, in which he denounces the nomina- tion of Greeley, and calls upon the democrats to organize and send delegates to the Louisville convention. New York had a swimming festival Saturday, at the foot of doth street, East river, which pre sented a scene of excitement and curious in- cidents not frequently witnessed at bathing re.orts. ‘The place if located directly oppo- | site Blackwell's Island, and is styled “ The Ori- ental Salt Water Baths.” The festival was got up for the purpose of testing the proficiency of the pupils of the establishment, who daily as- semble around the premises to struggle for fame in netatorial enterprise.
