Linthicum, on the Georgetown road, was struck by lightning. A tree on Gay street, be- tween Washington and Green, was ehivered by the electric thud, and in falling damaged a frame house. The mainmast of the schooner Pioneer, which was lying at the coal and fron wharf at the foot of Water street, was also shiv- ered by the lightning. The Pioneer was damaged to the extent of about 8800; and yesterday she was taken to Baltimore tor repairs. ‘THE RUMORS in regard to the removal of the present employes of the steamer Henry Addison are believed to be unfounded. SuNpay Scuoor Exaaaxatrox.—Yesterday morning at 9 o’elock the Sunday school attached to Trinity (Catholic) Church had an examina- tion, which passed off creditably to all. The examination was conducted by the teachers, assisted by their pastor, Kev. C. H.
