Upon going into executive session, it is um derstood that the Compictee on Foreign Ar- fairs, to which the treaty was referred on ‘Thursday, stated that they were not prepared to report it back to the Senate. ‘The premature publication of the treaty w: then brcuzht to the attention of the Senate; avd led to @ lively discussion, which was participated in by Mesers.
