A meeting of the work:ngmen of the Fourth distriet was held in Wall's Hall last evening, avd organized a Workingmen’s Republican Clad, adopted a constitution and by-laws, and elected J. ©. Wall, president; John Wilson, and Pat. H Doyle, vice presidents, and Heary Barton, secretary. The nomination of Gen. N. P. Chipman for Delegate in Congress was manimously approved, and it was resolved to invite all workingmen in the old fourth ward who desire to see improvements go on, and the District of Columbia become what the capital the nationshouid be, to join this club. The resolution offered by Mr. Casilear in reja- tion to holding public meetings in MARKET-HOUSE HALL was taken up; Br. Casalier said the market- hovse hall appeared to bein the hands of a. clique, who, in his opinion, showed partiality in the letting of the hall, which he, asa tax payer, wns opposed to.
