Action of the Board of Registration. 4 Pian for Fifty-three Voting Places in Washing- ton— The First and Second Registrations. A meeting of the Board of Registration was held last night at the Owen House. J. Russell Barr, Esq., clerk to the Board, submitted a list ef about 20 names for cerrectien out of nearly 20,00 voters registered at the first registration. © Board will resume work at the Uity Hali %s-morrow, and as there are many in the several districts who have not yet registered they will Bo doubt be kept busy. The regulations for the second registration are advertised in Taz Stan. A plan was adopted last night for distributing the voting precincts in this city at the ensuing election on the basis of one precinet for every 400 voters. This plan will be submitted to Gov. Cooke tor bis approval. The voting precincts im the county ait be left to the members of the Board living im the county to arrange.
