Mr. Suit hearing the alarm bell, drove quickly to the keeper's lodge, and ascertaining the cause of the alarm, drove to Uniontown and secured the services of Dr. Fisher, of that place, who was conveyed t the farm, and p to dress the wounds of the Hitle sufferer, who is terribly mangled, but it is thought may recover. At the East Washington M. E. Mission, Kev. J. G. Henning, the meetings continue to’ grow im interest, and the altar ix nightly crowded with seekers of religion, sometimes there being from twelve to twenty forward, and nightly we qeperted. Carpenter and F. W. Jacobs, and Councilmen E. C. Donnelly, Wm. Pope, and S. B. Bond, of Boston, and the courtesics that had been extended to them here by gentlemen of this city who had lately been the recipients of the elegant and profuse hospitalities of the peo- ple of Boston. Church, Baltimore, took place yesterday morning at 10% o’clock, trom the above church, and was attended by a large number ot friends of the deceased and clergymen, including sev- eral icom this city. ‘The following minister< acted as pall-bearers: Keys. L. F. sforvan, W. H. Laney, W. F. Ward, F. 5. Cassady, samuel H. Cummings, and John Brads. Miller, 101 aoe street, Gcorgetown, oe advertises a large stock of new tali goods. ‘GEORGETOWN, Mencwants’ EXCHANGE. —This morning, there were 5,100 bushels white and red wheat received by river. The market for grain is steady, with an active demand, and we note fales of 1,900 bushels prime white at $1.50 ., and the same quantity of prime red at $1.50 per bushel. The balance being of an inferior qual- ity was withcrawn. There js but little move- ment in corn, and wé quote white at 97 cents and yellow at 90 cents per bushel.
