HORRORS OF THE PRUSSIAN INVASIO New York, Aug. 27.—The following is a pecral to the Courier des Etats Unis: Pants, Aug. 26.—In spite of the orders given y the commanders of the enemy’s army, the Pros ian invesion of 1:70 surpasses in horror the re collcerons of that of 1614. At the War De- partment accounts are received from all sides, of pillage, devastation, and of summary execu- tions, caused by the resistance of peasants to the invasion of their homes. The Prussians concede to them no rights of deferce. The Ublans above all commit depredatiors wortby of the Cossacks of other days. THE EMPEROR. Little is said about the Emperor, and with good reason. Rot recriminations, are Beceseary. It will be time enough hereafter to demand an account from him, who was the origin of our first disas ers. THE EMPRESS. The Empress shows the most noble devotion to the wounded, Every day she visits the mili- tary hospitals and extends care and censolation to the victims of the war. All ladies of rank and bigh in social standing imitate her example. There are, unfortunately. rome exceptions to this noble cunduct. PRUSSIAN ESPIONAGE. The system of Prussian espionage has even stolen into some of the cburches and sacred places, where it would would scarcely be pos- sible to discover and prevent it. One or two examples have been made, which will probably put anend to this secret connivance with the enemy. GEEMANS NOT EXPELLED FROM PARIS.
