Like the Disciples of oid that that little band of brothers twenty-two years ago were huddled together in a litde upper room, in a private room, (and that a very small one,) atthe ex- treme southwest boundary of the city, almost afraid to have it known that such an organiza- tion existed: but like the candie, its light could not be obscured, although we were reproached and stigmatized by many of our own peopl+. Nothing daunted we pursued our onward course, and our numbers increased, til we were compelled to seek @ larger place thewhich to hold our meetings. This dene, our meetings became more public.
