Mr. Greenleaf was originaily from Massachusetts, being @ “member of a leading family of thet mxme in New Engiand. He was also .@ mephew of the esteemed Chief Justice Oroach. For over fourteen years he was the confidential clerk of Mr. George S. Gideon, in the printing and publishing business, and since, for many years, he has occupied the responsible position of treasurer of the Washington and George town Railroad Company. He was the soul of honor and integrity in every position he heid, and his example ss one weil worth following by all who aspire toa good name in the com- munity.
