Se EXAMINATION OF COLORED ScHooLs.—The colored schoels in the pew school building on O street, between 4th and 5th, were examined & Jew days since by Jno. M. Lamgston, E<q., Inspector of Schools, Rev. John Kimball, Superintendent, Dr. Stebbins, Rey. Mr. Brown, Rev. A. Bouldin, J. W. Alvord, Prof. Vaslion, and others. This building contains eight schools, and is ove of the finest colored school buildings im the District. The schools located therein are Primaries et the sixth, seventh, and vighth ‘R. A. Perry, Miss M. A. Dorster, and Miss Rachel J. Cook, teachers. Secondaries ot the fourth, and fifth grades. Miss C. F. Withington, and Miss A. L. Foote, teachers. Intermediates of the second and third grades, Miss S. Stebbins, and Muss E. W. Disbron. teachers. and grammer scheol of the first grade, Miss Emma Browd, teacher. All of the schools passed a very satisfactory examina- tiom showing that the pupils have made great rogrers since the organization of the schools in October I*st.
