Elder Anderson obtained the floor, and said: “You white men have disgraced us;” and pro- ceeded to remark that Dr. Fulton and all the other individuals should not be considered to the detriment of the education of these young men, (the students.) The language used by the white men was ungrotlemanly, and had a bad effect on the students. You have been telling them that you are in the movement for your own purposes, and not fer any love of princi- ple. [Dr. Turney here en, in con versa~ ‘ion with the Chairman, which being noticed by the stalwart elder, he reached for him and requested him (Dr. T.) to take his seat. The Doctor remarked that he had been called there by the Chair, and the Elder proceeded.—Rep. Mr. Beard resumed his remarks and proceed- ed to give a further history of the workings of the Association, saymg that no objection was mede to adjourning to Boston.
