Mason Seventn Recrest U.S. CavALRY—The remains of this gatlant and esteemed officer, who died last Angust, at Gal- veston, of yellow fever, while in the discharge of his duty as Inspector General of the Army of Texas, were escorted to their final resting place in the cemetery at Rock Oreek Church, this morning, by a detachment of the 5th U.S. cavalry. The remains of his wife, who died at the same place, of the same disease, a few days before, accompanied them.
