The House Reconstraction Committee on Saturday had a meeting and again this morn- | ing, and agreed upon a enpplementary dill, to | be reported by the chairman (Bir. Stevens) to-day. It was proposed to have a mest- ing of a sub-commitiee of the House Recon- raction Committee and a sub-committee ot the Senate Judiciary Oommittee this morn- ing, to see if the form of & Dill could be agreed upon between the two houses, but in consequence of some hitch the meeting was not held, and the Senate Judiciary Committee reported a separate bill this morning, wnich as given elsewhere in inll. Subsequently Mr- Stevens reported from the House Committee the bill given elsewhere. SUPPLEMENTARY RECONSTRUCTION. Mr. Trumbull, from the Senate Judiciary Committee, to-day reported— A BIL to gtve effect to an act entitied “an act | to provide for the more efficient government of the rebel States,” passed March 2, 1867.
