The perfec: order maintained throughout whe day told well for the modera- tion and goed sense of citizens of all parties, and was attributable also in a large degree, no doubt, tothe thoughtful provisions made by Superintendent Richards, and their faithful execution by his excellent police force. + 00$13.107 9108 Funxy to hear the Intelligencer inveigh against Election Frauds,” im view of the emart dodges attempted yesterday in the in- terest of its party ticket; such as imi- tating the Republican red ticket, with the Republican ticket headings and mottoes, de- signed to cheat the colored people, who were, however, too knowing to be cheated.
