AND Horse oF CORRECTION FoR THE DisTRicT.—The bill in- troduced by Mr. Baldwin, of Massachusetts, in the House of Representatives last week, proposes the erection of a jail, penitenti und Louse of correction on reservation 13, near Lincoln Hospital, the estimated cost of which fs $350.00. Anderson, Esq. has received the approval of the Secretary of the Interior, the warden of the jail, and othe rested, and is said to be complete in all respects, particular atiention having been paid to ventilauon and comfort.
