To-morrow and next day will be signalized by one of the grandest military dispiays of the world. Three immense armies—the Army of the Potomac, Major Gen. Meade; the Army of Georgia, Major Gen. Sherman; and the Caval- ry Corps, Major Gen. Sheridan,—will pass in review before the people, the President, and his Cabinet, and the representatives of all na- tions. There will be present those whose deeds are unequalled, whcse names are immortal. ‘We may scarcely imagine the varietyand degree of sentiment with which the grand army will be welcomed, but of all the thoughts suggusted by the occasion, the most imspiring reflection ‘Will be that {these stern, battle-scarred legions sre about to lay up their banners, resign their power and pomp, and return to the avocations of civil life, to enjoy the peacefal fruits of their sacrifices and heroism. Tnousands of distin- guished citizens are flocking to the city, and the review will doubtless be wimessed by a larger concourse of people thanever assembled in Washington befcre.
