Revear, all boys of the boot- black and pewsboy stamp, as till tappers and door thieves. Yesterday morning they were committed to jailto await an opportunity to send them from the city. Passing through the jail grounds the little seamps broke and run, scattering im every direction. Shelly being notorious, Clarvoe determined to have him at any risk, and chased him near half a mile through Swampoogle, Sheily jumped a fence and Ciarvoe followed him and caught him in the act of lifting the lid of a privy box in order tohide. Livingston, Assistant Provost Mare shal, arrested George M. Southron, George B. Barnard. John Brooks, and E. C. Fearson, citi- zens of Georgetown, on charge of disloyalty. The prisoners were sent to this city, to the Office of Military Governor, where they posi- tively refused to take the oath, but upon being laced in a hack to be conveyed to the Old Eapitor Prison, they changed their minds, and consented to subscribe to it. The oath was read to them by sentences, and they were re- quired to repeat it, in order that they could not say that they did not consider it binding, as it ‘was “only read to them,” as some others have done. Afver repeating the oath, they were re- quested to sign their names to it, which they did. pe TuE RAILROAD COMMUNICATION has now been re-opened between here and Baltimore, a train having arrived here at 10:30this forenoon.
