A Disnonest Portzer.—Last night Thomas Davis, a colored porter in the store of Georgs E. Kennedy, grocer, 7th street, was arrested by Mr. Jas. Green, grocer, on 13th street, near L, on suspicion of stealing a bucket of butter which he bad in his possession. Davis failed to give # good account of the manner in which be got the butter, and Mr. Green turned him over to Sergeant Reed, assistant superintendent otpohee. He aamitted the theft.
