AMUSBMENTS TO-NIGHT. GRover’s THRATER.—The fairy spectacle called “ The Seven Sisters,” will be performed to-night. Gallaudet, Superintendent of the Columbia Institution for the deafand dnmb 4nd blind, to visit that in- sutution. The reason for the invitation is that nbont a year since ten deaf mute children, resi- dents ot this city, were placed under instruc- tien in that institution, through the liberality ofthe city, and it is deemed proper that the council! should know something of the progress the pupils bave made, and should learn some- thing of the workings of the institution.
