Yesterday the Board obtained 21 soldiers out of 90 cases of conscripts examined, viz: Sub- stitutes, 10 whites, 4 blacks; accepted men, whites 2, blacks 5. These make the whois bumber of soldiers s0 far 575 cases, of which as are negroes, out of 2,257 cases examined in all. Of the exempts 28 were for disability, 13 for alienage, 11 on account of age,5 as the only sons of widows, 4 as theonly parent of children under 12 years, and 1 as the one of two sons elected by the mother for exemption.
