A large amoght of routine busi- mess was before the court. A German woman came into Uourt during the morning with a number of witnesses to prove her husband’s will, and Judge Purcell | proceeded to exami the witnesses thereto, when one of them said that the man was not | dead. The Judge looked very indignantly at the woman, but could not suppress a smile, and asked her why she had brought sucha paper into Court, and stated that the paper ‘wae no will atall, giving her a hint to be off. She stated that some lawyers had advised her that she could have the will proved before the death of the testator, and that she was afraid her husband might get mad and change it be- tore hedied.
