The deceased he knew well and long—his loving spirit, his fidelity and gentieness endeared him to all. He entered the Maryisad Conference in 1939, and no matter where he was assigned by the stationing power, te never refused, but obeyed the call with cheer- fulness. For two years he served as their presid- ing officer, and he fulfilled his duties with such avait that the conference — him to serve chem le er, but he declined.
