He is now, we learn. urging forward, and will soon have completed. an alteration of the sewer drop at the corner of Seventeenth street and the Avenue, opposite the residence of the Hon. T. B. Florence, which has long been a source of annoy- ance to the neighborhood. He has also ordered the paving of the sidewalk on B street south, from Seventh to Fourteenth streets, for which the prop- exty-holders will be greatly obliged. ‘The street will also be graded and graveled.
