_ LOCAL NEWS. — Tux County Jai. —Yesterday we made a pre. fessional visite this prison, and were courteousl; om of the premises. prison bas been much improved since our last no- tice of {it and it is not quite so much a nuisance in many respects as heretofore. Hutchins Jones appear to be more cheerful than previous heir former trial. The wife of the former visits » regularly. The little colored boy, Thomas Green, who stands charged with killing one of his playmates, by shooting him with 2 pistol, is also in the prison. He is as cheerful as could be expected from a boy se young in such circumstances.
