One of the heaviest hail storms*we have ever Witnessed, passed over our city yesterday after- hoon, «bout 2'5 o'ciock, from about West S.W. For several minutes it poured down in perfect torrents of ice—covering the ground in man laces with hail stones from one-fourth of an inc to an inch in diameter. alarming. Much dam has been done in our city to gardens, window-lights, &c. The prin- cipal sufferers, we believe, are Mrs. Capt. Boyce and Mr. C. W.
