Moxpmr’s May Festivat.—The month of May, as every body knows, is devoted to gay and graceful festivities. The gen ful season inspires all nature with new life and ani! e ancients represented May as a youth of lovely countenance, with a whi and green robe, embroidered with daff and hawthorne, and his head adorned with white and damask roses. Munder’s Saloon was fitted up tastefully Jast night, in keeping with the season; and the most incorrigible, crusty old bachelor fore the array of gay and lovely faces, as the troupe of little fa’ gracefully tripped through the evolutions at- tendant upon the ceremony of crowning the beautiful Queen of May. The fancy dances performed by the pupils were, in the main, astonishingly well executed ; indeed, it seemed almost incredible that such tiny specimens of boy and girlhood, as were many of the pupils, could have been brought tosuch proficiency.
