It declares that the deaths were caused by running tho cars backward, and that the immediate cause was their coming in contact with the pair of horses driven by Dr. Heineken, whose conduct is censured as careless and reckless ; and that the engineer did not observe the rules of the company relative to blowing the whistle oa approaching crost-roads.
