GEORGETOWN CORRESPONDENCE eo Gzonartown, May 25, 1855, Yesterday afternoon, as one of the Union Line omnibuses was coming down the hill leading to the Bridge street bridge, an aoci- dent occurred, which resulted in Mrs. Bibb, wife of Judge Bibb, being seriously injured. It appears that some portion of the ruoning gear of the coach gave way, when one of the wheels came off, and ths whole weight of the front part of the vehicle coming upon the horses, caused them to descend the hill at quite a rapid gait. Mrs. Bibb bec ame fright- ened and imprudently attempted to ju mp ont ofthecoach In doing so, she was thrown violently upon the pavement, and received a severe cut upon her chin. one over the left eye, one of her cheeks badly bruised, and one arm dislocated. She was soon raised again, however, and taken (this morning) to the ship yard of Mr. Easby to be repaired. She will be ready to resume her regular trips again on Monday next. It is suppo-ed that the accident was purely the resalt of carelessness or design upon tho part of those in charge ef the scow There was a large number ot Passengers on board the apres at the time.
