The ball will be opened at nineo’clock, with the Marion’s Grand Mered, composed fcr the occasion. This house is pow again in-the full tide of successful op- eration, with Mr. Allnuct at its head aa Presi dent, and cannet fail of complete succers. It has the full confidence of our commercial and business community. The question of selling the city’s interest in the timore and Oaio railroad, has sub aided. Ggongrtown, April 14, 1855 Both branches of our City Council were in session last night. A message from the Mayor in relation to the Metropolitan Railroad was read.
