Highway Are io Meet, Organize Club All Homemakers of Auke Bay and along the Glacier Highway who are interested in belonging to a Homemaker’s Extension Club are invited to meet at the home of Mrs. Joe Kendler on Monday eve- ning, December 3, at 8 o'clock. Many of the women in the area have indicated interest in belonging to such a club where they could receive more information on var- jous phases of homemaking. They jhave indicated interest in the sub- jects such as color in the home, furniture arrangement, hanging of pictures, preparation of fancy or party foods, clay modeling, learn to sew. Officers will be elected at the Monday meeting and a program committee appointed to work out the program for the year. The sub- jects included in the program will be those requested by the members. Mrs. Kendler will give a report of the seeond annual Short Course which was conducted at the Uni- versiyt in November, for home- makers of Alaska. Mrs. Kendler was the only representative from Southeast Alaska. She is to serve on the program committee for next year.
