Soropfimists Are Told About Rules 0f Procedure The Golden Rule is the funda- mental rule of parliamentary pro- cedure, Mrs. Mildred Hermann told Soroptimists at the'club's meeting in the Baranof at noon Friday. At the meeting, presided over by President Gertrude Wetzel, Mrs. Ann DeLong, program chairman in- troduced the speaker. “A well-conducted meeting is a thing of art,” said Mrs. Hermann, Juneau lawyer and Soroptimist member. Then she challenged the members “to know your club rules, parliamentary procedure and -ob- serve courtesy toward your presi- dent and towarg each other, “Members should participate in meetings and should know more about the business of holding a meeting,” Mrs. Hermann said.
