Moore, arrived in Juneau yesterday for a three-day visit, A crowd was waiting at thé Alaska Coastal Airlines float to meet Father Moore when his plane arrived from Skagway at 6 p.m. A procession of cars, led by a police escort, accom- panied him and the statue through the streets of Juneau to the doors of St. Ann’s hospital. Last evening the statue was car- ried ir procession from St. Ann’s hospita. to the Cathedral of the Nativity at 7:30 o’clock, the children and adults in the procession recit- ing the prayers of the rosary along the way. There will be special services in the cathedral again this evening at 7:30 o'clock. Tomorrow ‘morning Father Moore will speak at the masses in Juneau and also at Doug- las and Auk Bay. He will leave for Fairbanks at 3:40 p.m. by Pan American Airways. The “Pilgrim Virgin” statue is making a tour of Alaska during August. This statue is one of three which are being taken in pilgrim- age throughout the world. This statue was bléssed by the bishop of Fatima in Portugal and by Pope Pius.
