That's the question fans are ask- | ing today as the thrilling American League pennant race takes time out for the All-Star game. Once again the Red Sox are rid- ing high, threatening to take com- | mand. But in the background is an old Red Sox jinx — an ‘extended road trip, graveyard of Red Sox’ pennant hopes since 1946.
