Mr. Reck was an orgauizer of the Resurrection Lutheran church and it wes this church that conducted the. spiritual part of the service. With the oid of the church’ vested choir, the Rev. G. H. Hill- erman conducted the funeral ser- vice of his church in which was in- cluded, Christiansen’s arrangement of Bach’s “Come Soothing Death,” by the senior choir. The choir and the Rev. Mr. Hill- erman entered the hall in proces- sion proceeded by young people of the church carrying the church cross and candelabra. It was an impressive service as was the committal service by the Rev. Mr. Hillerman in the Odd Fellow's plot in the Evergreen cemetery where Mr. Reck was laid to rest beside his wife.
