The survivors, found drifting in a lifeboat, said other members of the crew had boarded another life- boat, the Sorrel radioed. The survivors expressed fear that the other lifeboat had been lost. A Coast Guard airplane earlier today reported sighting two over- turned lifeboats about 63 miles southeast of the place from which the collier radioed an SOS signal yesterday. He was reported to have been hunting in Khaz Bay on the west coast of Chichagof Island, 30 miles north of Sitka. The Coast Guard cutter Cahoone has been dispatched to that area to aid civilian search- ers ashore. It was feared that the hunter might possibly have been injured. An unconfirmed report at 1:30 | this afternoon said that the huntcr still unidentified, had been sighted from a plane and was apparently 2ll right. The Coast Guard had no confirmation, however.
