The story told in their feature is a good one, Larry Nelson (Richard Basehart) 30, is set free after having spent half of his life in prison. He obtains work at a sanitarium as a labora- | tory assistant and falls in love with Nurse Charlotte (Marilyn Maxwell) | while Ann (Dorothy Hart), another nurse shows a lot of atfection for Larry. Charlotte displays very little | response. A patient admitted to the sani-| tarium turns out to be an ex-con | named Stoker (John Hoyt) who had | served time with Larry. Stoker’s wite Celia (Signe Hasso) aligns herselt with three gangsters in an effort to take from Stoker the loot from a million-dollar robbery. Larry frus- trates the attempt and brings about the arrest of the gangsters and Celia. Larry wins the praise ot police officials in helping to smash the ring. The hero discovers and admits his love for Ann. Zane Grey's “Red Canyon” ends showing tonight at the Capitol.
