The Fairbanks-Seattle non-stop flight was called in, and left the Juneau airport about 9 p.m, with a ca- pacity load. Inbound, Pan American brought these persons from Seattle: Betty Alexander, Howard Baltzo, Al and Betty Bello, P. E. Binder, James Calvin, Mrs. F. €ole, Roger and Marg Conner, Kermit Guenkel, George Goble, Ralph Haverkamp, David Horton, Emma Johnson, Mrs. B. Lowry, Norman Lurie. Betsy and George Munson, Mrs. F. McGill, Mrs. A. Russo, Lois Smith, Richard Shuman, C. Shat- tuck, Joe Saftich, John Tenneson, Miss H. C. Outbound, 19 passengers went to Seattle, two to Ketchikan and 11 to Fairbanks. Due to the special circumstances, an unusually large number of Pan American crew members were in Juneau this weekend. Among these were E. D. Perry, Glenn W. Orf, F. McLaughlin, Marian McAllister, W. W. Knox, R. C. Clausen, Wes Monsen, Earl Lee, B. Laird, N. Ward, Max Raush- man and Tony Gomez. NEW REDUCTION, ‘ | [ FARES WESTWARD Effective © Wedhesday, June 17, fares, one way and round trip, will be reduced between Juneau and Anchorage and points beyond, ac- cording to Robert Pheasant, sales manager for Pacific Northern Air- lines in Juneau. Word of the reduction was re- ceived today by Pheasant from the Seattle headquarters of PNA and will be $7.00 on one way tickets,! which will make the one way fare now $63.000 and $12.60 on round trip tickets, or a new low of $113.40.
