FOR HONEST AND EFFI- CIENT GOVERNMENT, 79-7t familiar with thousands of persons throughout this Division. If you feel some of these persons whom you know can better repre- sent you — then, by all means, vote for them. I am merely pointing out to the voting public the important reasons why you, as Mr. and Mrs. Voter, should consider the qualifications and know-how of those who have placed their names before you to represent your needs, and the needs | of our Territory. Don’t you think you should have persons of the best qualifications for the job? If so, I am a candidate, and have told you truthfully and frankly how I feel about the matter. ‘There is no guestion that TAXES is now our greatest subject. You know, just as well as I do, that everyone is against “TAXES.” But, when we come down to it, if 'we do not pay some taxes, there are a-lot of economical and social benefits we would be doing without. Your and my problem is to try and adjust the amount of taxes we pay to the amount, and need, of this Territory of ours, for money to in- sure its present and future progress and development. Ask your candidates for their frank views of this important ques- tion before you vote! I am prepared, and I am sure a great many more are, to take a forthright and con-; scientious stand on this question. This is Earl T. Forsythe, a Demo-~ cratic Candidate for the House of Representatives, in the April Pri- maries, Tuesday, April 25th.
