Take all at me = SAVE THIS PUZZLE AND SUBMIT IT WITH THE WEEKLY SET OF ALASKAGRAMS 49 TO 54 WHAT TO DO TO WIN | At 8 p.m.—Popular concert by local | Here’s how you take part In this big opportunity! Every issue this newspaper will publish Alaskagrams in consecutive order, six each week R for 12 weeks—a total of 72 Alaska- grams. Each Alaskagram is a group of scrambled letters which form mean- ingless words or a nonsensical }ighrase. After an Alaskagram is 'unscrambled the letters form the iname of a place in Alaska; how- evur. there is one superfluous letter {—an extra, additional letter which is not needed to form the word. All you do is re-arrange the let- ters to form a single word which is the name of a place in Alaska, and you also show which is the extra letter. For example, the phrase “FOR A CHANGE” when it is un- scrambled equals “ANCHORAGE” plus the extra letter F. Just remember that all place- names consist of only one word— and remember to show the extra letter. There is only one correct answer to each Alaskagram. 6:20—Sports Scene. 8:05—Music for Listening. 8:30—PEOPLE'S PLATFORM- CBS. 9:00—Alaska News. 9:15—Cote G 9:30—JEFF REGAN-CBS. | 10:00—News. o | 10:15—Drifting on a Cloud. | 10:30—Forecasts. 10:35—Sign Off. | THURSDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON Sign On 7:00—Dunking with Druxman. | 7:05—Local Weather. 7:30—News Summary. 8:00—Morning Thought, 8:15—News Headlines. 8:25—Weather report. 8:30—Songs from the Shows. 8:45—Lenny Herman Orchestra. 9:06—Music for the Missus. | 9:30—Weather report. | 9:35—Favorite Hymns. i | 9:45—YOU AND FEAR-CBS. 10:00—News. 10:05—Milady’s Memo. { 10:30—Morning Musicale. 11:00—STEVE ALLEN SHOW- CBS. 11:30—Listeners’ Digest. | 11:45—Harmony Time. ! 11:55—Forecast. 12:00—Salon Serenade. 12:15—News. | 12:30—Meet the Band. Finnish Presiden! Begins 2nd Term (By Associated Press) President Paasikivi of Finland be- gan his second term of office to- day. The 79-year-old statesman is under heavy pressure from border- ing Russia. As the Soviets handed the Finns a note again demanding the surrender of 300 so-called war criminals. Finland replied to a previous note by denying any war criminals were being harbored.
