SCREEN FUN! |{! ! 'DOUBLE FEATURE BILL ON TONIGHT, CAPITOL THEATRE “The Arizona Ranger,” and “Rusty Leads the Way,” make up a two feature bill for the Capitol Theatre for tonight only. The coming of law and order to the Arizona cattle country is the theme of RKO Radio’s outdoor dra- ma, “The Arizona Ranger,” with |Tim Holt and his father Jack Holt, in the starring roles. As a two-fisted rancher who fa- i vors rough-and-ready methods ot treating law-breakers, the elder Holt’s role contrasts with his son's portrayal of a Ranger captain who intends to handle matters in a legal fashion. The conflict between the two men, and Tim’'s misadventures when he tries to capture a clever gang of rustlers, bring about many exciting moments. Nan Leshe has the feminine lead | land Richard Martin, Steve Brodie, | Paul Hurst and other well-known players have featured roles. “Rusty Leads the Way,” is Co- lumbia’s latest drama in its heart- warming series. According to advance reports on the picture, Rusty's master makes friends with a young blind girl, and when he realizes how tond she 1s of the gentle canine, he hits on the idea of sending her to a special school where she can obtain a “seeing-eye” dog of her own. The emotion-packed story is said to be told with all the human, appealing touches which have made the “Rusty” piotures so popular. Ted Donaldson is once more cast as Danny Mitchell anc Sharyn Moffett is the little klind girl i PIONEERS ATTINTION Regular meeting and Christmas party Friday Dec. 30, 8 p.m. Bring gifts for exchange.—adv. ® 87-3t SCHWINN BIKES AT MADSEN'S Noon—Kiwanis Club, Baranof. | SCRIPT FOR ALASKAN MOVIE BEING WRITTEN While an action-packed Alaska | movie is played on the wall of their office, two Alaska Develop- | ment Board officials are writing script for the narrative to accom- pany it. I The movie will take audiences in the States on a tour of Alaska, showing them its principle indus- tries and its most scenic spots. It! will be pre-viewed by Alaskan audiences before being released, however, Sundborg said.
