The blaze was con- | tined to the oven, and there was little damage done. Answering a five-three alarm Sunday afterncon, the fire de- partment rushed to the small boat harbor. A resident who lives on the hill above the harbor reported a fire at the harbor. But firemen found that the blaze had been started in a dump-truck bed thaw out frozen gravel. A four-nine alarm at 11 o'clock last night took the fire department to Jay's Super Service on Wil- loughby Avenue, where leaking welding equipment threatened to do damage. Firemen reported that po damage was done. All clear was isounded fifteen minutes after the| first alarm. Fire Chief A. Minard Mill and| Firetruck Driver Lars Sorensen went to 816 Dixon Street early this morning where they extinguished a blaze under the floor in front of! the fireplace. Some damage had been done to the floor and the beams under it by the fire, which apparently had smoldered all night. No alarm was sounded, however.
