She has been away from her business for two months, | due to major surgery and conval- escence. Mrs. Parmenter announces a new member of her staff, Miss Hazel Miller of Oakland, Calif, who is expected to arrive in Juneau to- morrow. The smart shop in the| Baranof Hotel has been understaff- ed for two weeks since Mrs. Irene Stubbs went to the states to visit her son and for a vacation. She plans to return in November. Since coming here from Los Angeles in April, Mrs. Kathryn McDonald has built up a nice Ju- neau following, specializing in hair- styling.
