THURSDAY, MAY 19, 1949 BOY SCOUT AiR (AMP AT FAIRBANKS, JUNE 12 70 18, INCLUSIVE Ladd Field Air Force Base and nearby Fairbanks will play host to Alaska’s Senior Scouts when they attend the Third Alasca Air Scout encamoment June 12 tc June 18. The change of locale from iiimen- derf Field and Anchorage, site of the first two encampments, will permit a completely new program to be arranged and open a new sec- tion of Alaska for side trips. This w.ll contribute to one of the Alaska Council’s main objectives, that ot acquainting boys from all parts of Alaska with the Territory’s vast re- sources and opportunities. Basic change in the encampment organization will be that Senior Scout units will attend and par- ticipate under their own unit lead- ership. All units will remain to- gether during the encampment. Arrangements from the Ladd AFB site were completed in March. Brig. Gen. Dale ’h Gaffney and Col. N. D. VanSickie, pointed Capt. Jack Setterich as the liaison officer to coordinate the Ladd operational, physical, and training facilities with the Alaska Couircil. Program and administra- tive details of the encampment have been assigned the Field Executive Russell Apple. He wiil direct the encampment along with other members of the Council's professional staff. Cost to each Senior Scout at- tending, including transportation from the pickup points, food, and incidentals, will be $10. Units must register before June 1 with their field office in Ketchikan, An- chorage, or Fairbanks, or the Coun- cil Office at Juneau. Registrations must include a $2 ree far each Senior Scout. The balance of $8 may be paid at the time of board- ing the pickup plane. A $12 fee will be charged late registrants. both members- | at-large of the Alaska Council, ap- | NOTICE TO CREDITORS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that I, PATRICK J.
