If conditions for salvaging are suitable, the barge contents are to be raised and brought to Juneau for shipment to Seattle. Aboard the barge is structural steel for the Alaska Railroad and diesel motors and generators for the City of Anchorage. The cargo is to be repaired in Seattle and shipped again for Anchorage. Capt. The material, weighing 67 tons and having an extreme length of 62 feet, was raised in one lift in 40 feet of water. The Ajax salvage was ship- ped by barge to Seattle. The Ajax barge had sunk on Spike Rock in ‘Wrangell Narrows. The Kodiak Salvor is owned by the Kodiak-Aleutian Salvage and Construction Co., headed by Robert O.
