We, in Doug- las, regret that Marcus Jensen who found it politically expedient to be silent during the campaignehas re- opened this matter and attacks the character of honorable public offi- cials. “Marcus Jensen was supported by the majority of Douglas citizens in his election on the platform indorsed by Governor Gruening. Now he states that there is ‘politi- cal dictatorship’, ‘planned economy” and other charges which only brought smiles to the Senate Com- mittee, We, in Douglas, through freedom of speech and ballot are not afraid of political dictatorship. We are, however, afraid of imma- ture, irresponsible and unstable pol- iticians who consider their person- al animosities and opinions are above the will of the majority who elected them in good faith. “Yours very truly, “Mayor _and City Council “By MIKE PUSICH, “Mayor, Dauglus Alaska.” Plld adv. lt | t m DAY NURSJZRY for children and babies.
