Saigh, Jr. Hannegan told a press conference in his Sportsman’s Park office that he is getting out of baseball on orders from his physician. Neither would disclose the price involved in the transfer of stock, dismissing questions with “no com- ment,” but speculation was that Hannegan will receive not less than $1,000,000. Brown is a pping westerner who saves a rancher’s life from the deadly weapon of a cheating gamb- ler. The rancher asks Brown to keep an eye on his wild son while he is away, but the son afoul of the law after a gun battl with Reed Howes. The latter turn out to be a cattle rustler working for a higher-up, who is uncoverec by Johnny Mack and Hatton alter a crucial gun fight. For those who like action and mystery, “Danger Street” is that with Jane Withers and Robert Low- ery in the starring roles, supported by Bill Edwards, Elaine Rley anc others. The story concerns the so- lution of a couple of murders un- covered by the star reporter and editor of a pictorial magazine. Miss Withers, erstwhile child star and now a glamorous young lady of 20 portrays the reporter, Lowery the editor.
