Davis will arrive in Ju- neau aboard the Baranof for a two day visit, before continuing to the Westward Lucille Mahoney and Loriane Mix were appointed to act as co-chair- men to make plans for the enter- tainment and other activities for their visit. President Gronroos announced that the new meeting dates of the Auxiliary will be as follows: first and third Wednesdays of each month. The first Wednesday of each month will be the regular business meeting and the third Wednesday has been set aside for the social meeting Senior Vice-President Rhea Mac- Farlane's resignation was read. She announced that she had moved to Seattle where she will nake her per- manent home. Amy Sherlock was appointed to succeed her as Sen- ior Vice-President. The President announced that there will be a special meeting held Wednesday evening, June 9, in hon- or of the National President, and National Secretary-Treasurer and at this meeting there will be a special initiation of new members. Y Miss Shaffer and Mr. Sorrocco met luring the war while he was sta- foned in Juneau as an M. P. with the army. After graduation in 1944 Miss Shaffer went to Northwestern !Unl\fl'.&lty at Evanston, Ill, to study music and there renewed her | aquaintance with Sorrocco. Miss Shaffer is wellknown in Ju- neau having lived here most of her life. She was born in Ketchikan. The wedding took place in St. Anthony’s Cathedral in New York ind the young couple will make their home in that city.
